TurboTax Premier for 2024 not as good as advertise

I used the Premier version for 2024. Most was standard W2, Div and Int reporting but i had two items that the softward failed to handle. One was a same day exercise/sale of my NQ Stock Options and the second was for a missed RMD in 2023 that was taken after April 15, 2024 but before Dec 31, 2024. The steps to show how to report a Exercise/sale on same day are poor. THe instructions for Form 5329 Part IV need significant improvement.

Terrible! Everything Is Getting Worse

Terrible! Everything gets worse and worse every single year. Why do I have to keep inputting stuff that used to carry over from the previous years? You folks are more concerned about cross-sells than making a user-friend product. This is likely my last purchase of this software.

Frustrated by change to 1099 input screen

I did not like the changes made to how we enter information from out 1099s. It would be VERY helpful for in input screen to take ALL of the information from the 1099 and not have to go back in for interest, dividends and capital gains. It took me much longer to complete my return this year.

TurboTax (Premier - Desktop): tool required information that did not exist in a 1099-B Form, like info from columns "g" and "i".

2024 Turbotax was not as good as 2023

We were very disappointed in the 2024 version We had to download it three times with specialist help before it woiuld function properly, including difficulty in bringing in 2023 data We constantly ran into dead ends where the proper forms did not come up, which required us to use your help line and specialist assistance. The section devoted to interest and dividends was much more cumberson to navigate than in the 2023 version, and cost us a great deal of wasted time time and backtracking
