Overrides on forms (terrible)
on April 13, 2025

It took me twice as long to do tax returns because I got no refund from the Feds and it automatically assumed no direct deposit on the state. i had to literally go into the forms on all to insert the direct deposit. A pain.

There were no PA State Estimated Vouchers included and no explanation why. I upgraded twice and still nothing.

TurboTax is AWSOME

I have been using the Mac OS version until this year. Somehow, I found myself opening the web-based app. I was lost and floundering. It hadn't carried over date from my previous year return. Luckily I found the familiar old app was still available. With this, my 177 pages of tax return were completed in only a few hours. Why use a tax service when TurboTax will do the job, and give you online personal support.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

The handling of K-1 schedule was very confusing. Ultimately, had to file an amended return. Even now, I'm not sure if my amended state return was filed.

I have been using Turbo Tax for +/- 10 years and I thought that this year's product was not as user friendly as past years have been. I had to call for help at one point to find out how to enter interest paid that wasn't entered in the first pass. It was not at all evident and should have been
