Loved my Tax Expert!

Very frustrating - hours wasted!

Spent hours trying to get my CA return filed as I kept having problems with Form 3840. Found out it is a known turbotax issue for years that they never resolved. Ended up having to print and mail in return and still paid fee for electronic filing. Printed 52 pages and postage costs.

Failed to read Basis from Consolidated 1099

I"ve been using TurboTax for a number of years. This time it did not read my Edward Jones documents correctly. It read in three 1099's that were blank and on the consolidated 1099 it failed to read the field that specifies the basis and term (ie: Long Term or Short Term Reported or not). As a result i had to find and enter that information manually. It worked fine, just never had to do that before.

Great app; needs low-vision accessibiity features

I've been using TorboTax for Windows since the 1990's. It's a great tax app but needs some tweaks for low-vision users.
Turbo tax needs to add features to support accessability by low vison users, for example, ability to enlarge font size on screen and use Windows settings for screen displays to adjust display colors, black backgtound white letters. These teattter.e bks should apply to every aspect of the app.
Thanks for a great product and please help me see it better!

TT won't run on MacBook Pro 2016

I had to use TT on an old, retired Windows 10 machine that I still have. The installation instructions do not warn that I would be unable to run TT on my MacBook Pro 2016. TT on mac requires Ventura 13.0, but Apple had stopped updatind the 2016 model MacBook Pro beyond Monterey 12 (most recent is 12.7.6) and TT Premier (that I paid for) simply will not run on my Mac.
