itsdeductable import failure

the importing of the itsdeductable into turbotax completely failed to work. i had to manually type the 150 items for a second time into turbo tax itself. product support team could/would not help resolve the import problem because there was no errors generated for them to review. thus to them, there was nothing to fix or resolve ( no trouble ticket is/was generated). Duh, that's exactly the definition of a problem that should be investigated further.

TurboTax continues as quality for calc tax but ...

TurboTax Premier download was my selection because needed to handle investments in stocks, etc. Works as far as tax prep and guidance was very good, just about as good as previous years. A bit chunky in questions, but it worked. Lost one star because issues with displays, such as top menu bar having trunkaded text (Win11 Pro OS). Guidance on handling crypto currency trading should be enhanced, especially since 1099's from trading platforms are still not common, and may not be so in 2025. Intuit seems to be pushing for doing it with cloud-based versions vs download, both in its promotions and cost structures (offerings). Intuit descriptions of versions that are given on its website should be made clearer.

Have used it for many years and it gets harder every year although my circumstances are simpler. Each year TurboTax pushes harder to upgrade and pay for tax advice and I have to assume that's the reason it gets harder to use evey year - just saying.

Confusing state payment methods.

One glitch: TT gave me the option of paying state via electronic payment to MN Revenue, which I did. However, ensuing TT pages did not recognize this form of payment.
