Uncomfortable with filing changes this year

Was misleading about Audit Defense. Did not disclose what additional fees would be. Also when I unselected Audit Defense, I no longer had option to pay state filing fee by credit card. I was not comfortable having Turbo Tax have direct access to my bank account for fees, but I was stuck. I could not file unless I selected this option.

new screen is not better

For tax year 2024 you changed the screens for entering investment income. They are very confusing and not easy to follow. Older versions of Turbo Tax were much easier to enter investment income.

Refund processing agreement is clunky

The refund processing agreement is clunky and somewhat misleading reading it triggered anxiety. I am getting refunds but, when I finish with Turbo Tax and actually took the time to read the agreement, I was hesitant to agree to the terms and submit my return. The filing fee is not clearly stated and I fear my information may be marketed. I am an accountant who has used Turbo Tax for years; it is not getting and easier.

TurboTax 2024 is slightly more confusing than 2023

Mostly good, although TT changed from 2023 to 2024, with regard to RMD's. The instructions were a bit confusing. I answered the questions one way and later decided I should have answered differently. I was able to go back and make the change. With regard to paying from my Bank Account directly. I do not see any evidence of this in the forms I printed which is slightly worrisome.

I have been using this product for years and it provides help and explanations and saves important information that make a stressful situation a little easier. I've had different situation come up in the last few years and this product has helped me navigate through them and make the process easier.
