CA State efile payment error

California State return; Payment error, "hit a snag, try again". Changing browsers, clearing cookies did not help. Purchased by phone- state efile return- state efile confirmation number- success.

Federal rejected not immediate notification

Easy to use. but when the federal file got rejected it does not specify why it failed. I have to wait 12 -24 hrs. not in an instant.

TurboTax 2024 is cumbeersome when entering interes

I did not like this year's TurboTax interface. Specifically, it was inconvenient to have to enter interest, dividends, and stocks/bonds received from one firm three times. TurboTax should make it easy to enter all information received from one firm's consolidated statement once, rather than having to enter the firm info, etc. multiple times.

Our experience with TurboTax was very good in general. However, this year (tax return for 2024) with Premier, a problem was we could not edit the name of the financial organizations (1099-B part) without going through deleting many entries.

it would be helpful to know what forms need to be printed for each state filing if mailing. Turbotax used to say "file this form with your return".
