I feel that Turbo Tax is reliable and I have used it for several years. I have never had a problem with my taxes.

Friendly and Very Knowledgeable!

My husband and I haven't sought professional tax help as much as we should have over the years. Today, I felt that I had no choice since we are running out of time. The young lady who helped us today was very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips on preparing for next years taxes and how to be prepared.

Turbo Tax is terrible.

I had to click none of the above on about 100 stock sales, but even though there was plenty of room on the screen, I had to use the scroll bar to move over to the needs review box. I hate Turbo Tax.

I thought tax code was being simlified?

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I am pleased with their service. The tax code gets more and more complicated each year. I can't afford the so call professionals that make mistakes and charge an arm and a leg to prepare. The State was so complicated. I am glad Turbo was there to walk me throught

The reorder for the future year program is hard to know when the order is complete and then wanders into online and that creates confusion

TurboTax 2024 Improvement suggestions

I'm using the MacOS version. In general, the application is fine but there are a few things that could be use improvement:
1. Import - It would be useful to be able to import a 1099 as a PDF similar to what is supported for a W2. It's not uncommon to have a PDF version of the 1099 and NOT have electronic login access to it.
2. Editing income - I believe this was much cleaner in the past. Now you have to scroll up and down repeatedly to deal with any changes or deletions. 1099-B edits are particularly annoying. It's actually become easier to go into Forms mode now to deal with most edits.
3. Importing K1 forms - I realize this can be complicated but it would be nice to be able import a PDF of a K1. TXF versions are not typically available for smaller business/partnerships.
