never used an expert. inputting my interest income and mutual fund 1099 was not straight forward. had to work around the guided inputting to input the data.

Love Turbo Tax but not a big fan of Intuit,sorry!

I have been using Turbo Tax as a married filing jointly for over ten years and now have filed as a single (divorced) individual. I always have liked using the package This year, however, Intuit has decided to push their other products on me and I do not like the marketing deluge. I find it frustrating and wish they'd lighten up and let me just do my regular Turbo Tax alone.

One big glitch

I needed to add my IP PIN after my initial return failed because it was missing. Once the PIN was added. the program should have taken me back to the initial instruction screen so I could re-file from there. Instead it made me open multiple screens in order to back to the re-filing page. Poor programing.

Turbo Tax is infuriating

not sure who made the updated to Turbo Tax so user unfriendly but if an updated is required after purchasing it should be easier to find the update or emails should be sent with a link to updated. Obviously I am not the first user with this problem because when I did a search on Turbo Tax website the only information found was another customer asking the same question I had but no answers to the problem. The product this year is very disappointing and your website is even worse. Maybe someone should actually look at the page and give helpful information instead constantly trying to sell another product.

Turbo Tax is terrible

The new format is almost impossible to use. It took me more than triple the time to do my taxes. I have been using turbo tax for since 2008 and have never had problems with entering the information and will never use it again.

The tax program did not down import my last year's taxes. The help desk could not find a way to import my last year's tax files.

Turbo Tax Deluxe is the best way to prepare your taxes if your return is not simple. There is plenty of useful help and on online (paid) assistance. I have used it for years.
