I really wanted the 85mm 1.2, but just wasn’t feasible at the time, so I read-up on the 1.4 and thought I’d give it a try. I was more than impressed with the quality of the images I captured and so happy I decided to go with the 1.4! Thank you Canon for putting out this great lens!

This lens is a good addition to Canon's VCM line of hybrid lenses. It is good for portrait and tighter, more discrete street photography. The f1.4 aperture gives good subject separation without the size and weight of the more expensive RF 85mm f1.2 lens.
