Amazing hot beverage machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks a latte @influenster and @delonghi for allowing me to try this product in exchange for my honest opinion. This arrived in the mail well packaged and easy to remove. The unit was easy to set up. The machine will grind whole coffee beans on demand and brew it in many different ways. It will also add frothed milk to your beverage. The milk carafe is detachable and can be swapped for a hot water option. This is a feature I appreciate, the hot water dispenser does not use the same area as the coffee. This allows the hot water to not have a coffee flavor. I have tried many different preprogrammed drinks. Each one as amazing as the next. As long as the machine is loaded it will easily make delightful beverages. You cannot customize each drink to your preference. From strong brew to light and amount, small up to extra large. You can also save beverage preferences in three different user settings making it easy to brew your favorite beverage. I am learning new things about it each time I use it. When it needs to be cleaned or rinsed out the machine will display a message and tell you what needs to be done. So far it has not been difficult to clean and maintain. The parts are easy to access and clean. This is a super fun machine for coffee or hot beverage enthusiasts. You cannot go wrong with this machine. It is amazing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is incredible. This machine is so intelligent, the setup was absolutely so easy and it walks you through it. It uses grounds or beans which is great to have the option for both. Love the customized settings on this for drinks. My wife and I are big coffee drinkers, she cannot skip a day and this has been used everyday since we have had it. Latte macchiato is our favorite so far! The frother is amazing. Works perfect every time plus it is easy storage! The options on this give the ability to make whatever you feel like to start your day. Who needs a coffee shop when we have one now at home?? And it’s so simple! This is absolutely a must have for any coffee drinker to have in their kitchen.

Pricey but worth every penny and then some!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right off the bat I will say this machine is a bit pricey, but worth every penny if you love coffee and want one machine that does it all! I love coffee and big fan of a good cup of espresso! Most espresso machines are really involved and take a lot of effort to use. De’Longhi has taken the effort out and still give you that delicious full flavor in every cup, whether it be espresso, cappuccino, coffee or the many other options it comes packed with! You can add grounds or beans an it will grind and brew and dump in a easy to empty compartment. Another awesome function is the self cleaning process to make sure it’s clean and ready to go at all times. Brewing process is very quick, either grounds or beans it waste no time to get you a nice delicious cup of liquid gold! I again will say it is extremely pricey for a machine at first glance but I promise you it is worth every bit and more. They have engineered and designed a beautiful machine that gives you high quality output of any variation of coffee you can think of with the only effort by you is to pick the coffee grounds/beans and make sure water compartment has water in it!

Where has this been all my life?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I am beyond impressed at the ease of set up and fantastic quality of coffee from this magical machine. It’s very intuitive, customizable and fun to continue testing different brews. It’s also SO easy to clean! This video was before we figured out that you can move the spout to the center so you don’t actually have to move the coffee cup to the side where coffee is brewed. Over the past few years I’ve tested drip, pour over, and French press coffee but this by far exceeds in taste and clean up. I can’t recommend it enough.

Having a large family I love that there are multiple brewing options. I have used whole beans with several different styles. But there’s an option for ground coffee. It froths the milk, & self-cleans. The noise level is low too! Highly recommend

Amazing, fully customizable coffe machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is an amazing machine! It is relatively simple to use and fully customizable. I love that I can make many fancy cups of coffee with ease. Espresso machines have always been intimidating to me because they have so many gadgets, but this really takes the guess work out of it. I also like that it is a nice compact size. Some espresso machines seem like they need an entire coffee bar, but this fits perfectly on my countertop.
I have just a few reasons I rated this four stars instead of five. One reason is because I had trouble getting my coffee beans to grind properly. I filled the machine, yet I kept receiving an error message that I was out of beans even though it was full. I referred back to the directions and there was nothing to advise me what to do. I even looked up a DeLonghi video to find something and I still had trouble. I ended up using a small kebab stick to move the beans around and then it started working, but I have received that error a few times. I just wish the directions gave some advice on that issue.
The other issue I found was that I did not feel like my espresso or doppio had as much crema as I would have thought there would be. It is a very, very thin layer.
Aside from those few issues, this is an absolutely amazing machine that brews great coffee. Not a single note of bitterness. Everything is smooth and delicious.
