It feels like having my own personal barista, allowing me to experiment with various settings and create delectable coffee flavors. To top it off, it comes with a complimentary coffee beans packet that boasts an exceptional flavor.
At first glance, the machine might appear intricate, but it’s surprisingly straightforward to set up. It includes an instruction manual and DeLonghi’s signature coffee beans. For those new to this type of machine, here are some crucial points to keep in mind:
1. Before using the coffee maker, thoroughly rinse all parts that will come into contact with water, including the water tank and milk carafe, using drinking water.
2. Switch on the machine, and it will guide you through a few simple steps. Dip the provided water hardness strip in a cup of drinking water for two seconds. After about a minute, pink squares will appear, indicating the water hardness level. Enter the result when prompted by the machine. If your water is hard, it suggests inserting the provided water filter into the water tank.
3. Whenever you switch on or off the coffee maker, it will execute a quick hot cycle to heat and clean the components. Ensure you place a tray beneath the coffee nozzle to catch any dripping water.
4. After brewing your coffee, the machine will run a rinse cycle to clean the milk carafe and coffee nozzle.

Simple but great product!

Having a large family I love that there are multiple brewing options. I have used whole beans with several different styles. But there’s an option for ground coffee. It froths the milk, & self-cleans. The noise level is low too! Highly recommend

through influenster. It has 13 one-touch recipes and the availability for 3 user profiles to make multiple beverages. You can use milk or milk alternatives in the milk carafe to create frothy foam, and it has the option to grind your own coffee beans. Not into coffee? You can use it for hot water to make tea or hot chocolate! The best part is that the pieces are dishwasher safe! Set up was easy and their website has helpful videos to walk you through the initial steps and for troubleshooting. My brother works at a coffee shop and commented that the espresso came out perfect! I like that you can use milk alternatives and it still creates a nice foam. I used lactose free milk and it worked just as well as regular milk. I look forward to experimenting and trying new recipes!

Makes a mean cup of espresso!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying, I’m not the biggest fan of coffee at home. I’ve never had a great machine, so I jumped at the chance to try this machine. I’ve been putting it through its paces over the course of the last month, and I am now a huge fan of having a cappuccino or espresso every day!
Set up was fairly easy. The machine walks you through everything on the screen. It came with all the necessary accessories, including a water filter, and tester strips to test the hardness of the water you’ll be using. I live in Springfield, MA, and we are fairly well known for our great drinking water. The strips registered no hardness in the water after testing twice.
There’s so many different options for coffee with this machine. My favorites are a simple espresso, and the cappuccino+. The milk frothing accessory is great. Easy to clean. The machine actually automatically gives it a rinse after every use.
The only issue I had was that the grinder sittings seem to be a little off, and there was an issue with the grounds being really watery and having a painfully slow drip. That was easily fixed, and it’s no longer a problem.
I highly recommend this machine. It’s a little pricey, but the quality of the coffee is fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is great! I will say it does take up quite a bit of space, but the coffee is amazing. It’s a grinder and espresso maker in one. My only gripe was the setup. Make sure to have cups under the nozzles for initial setup because the on screen instructions don’t give a long enough warning before shooting out a bunch of water from the initial cleaning. Aside from that, great machine, and I’m becoming an espresso fiend. This review was part of an incentivized campaign.
