Lower quality than expected

I loved this product when I first used it - bought 3 as gifts. But then the plastic top stopped working and is full of food around the cracks. I cook almost every day and depend on my appliances and gadgets to last. Wish it would have lasted longer. I have a kitchenaid coffee grinder that I got as a wedding gift 30 years ago and it still works. Too bad quality has gone down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I still use #2 unit but it’s getting tired so I feed it nuts and cheese anymore… the new one works like new lol…. The added depth of the bowl is a huge plus, as it IS a mini chopper! Sauces and veggie chop for prep…. ETC.
