I read the reviews and decided to buy this anyway. I'm glad I did! This is great! I just gather that people just really don't read instructions. I didn't have any issues with using this. It's a great size for me because I really don't need a big processor but need something bigger than a 1 or 2 cup. I've made salsa, pesto, chopped onions, etc. I like using the handle to operate, it's convenient to me. I hand wash this so I can't speak on dishwasher use but I'd recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This company is wonderful. I purchased a different, smaller chopper from Kitchen Aid and found that it didn't work well. Kitchen Aid sent me a this larger one for a very small upcharge and sent it to me quickly. I was amazed.
The new product is excellent.
