I have had this for a few years and get SO much use out of it, from chopping onions, shredding cheese, to making biscuits. I love it!

Plastic in the mayo

The plastic in the center is melting and degrading after a few uses making mayo. Not very happy with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super easy to use and clean. i had some trouble figuring out how to get the lid off the first time but that’s operator error :). I found the operation button to be more efficient than the chop/grind button in the older model. I love all my Kitchen Aid appliances!

Small package big power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve processed velveeta cheese into cheese sauce and processed 1c flour, 1c sugar, and a stick of butter for a crumble pie. Didn’t phase it a bit. It’s very compact and lightweight. I do wish it held the blade like the 3 cup. I will say the handle and lid SEEMS fragile but time will tell how it holds up. Overall I love it! It’s super handy.
