[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using it for about three weeks. Easy to assemble and stores neatly with cord lock at the buttom. I was able to make hummus with no problem also chopped garlic. Anything longer than 1 minute you will smell a burnt smell so I just stop and let rest before continuing. I will be trying to make nut butter next and see if how it will handle that. I think it is the perfect size of preparing for 1 or 2 persons!

Love the 5 cup size...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad I got the 5 cup model... mainly I've used it to make fresh salsa, chop onions, carrots and celery for mirepoix. I like the blade system much better than the 3.5 cup also. The machine runs much quieter in comparison to a 4 cup Cuisinart chopper that I had previously. I did have some difficulty at first, not with the lid (which operates quite easily) but with releasing the cup from the base. Used just the tiniest amount of non-stick vegetable spray on the clip areas where the cup attaches to the base and then wiped off. Works perfectly now! Haven't used the whip attachment yet.
