Use it for everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our food chopper a ton! It quickly preps things for us, makes sauces and doughs, and easily fits in the dishwasher, when we're done. The only complaint I have is that it is very tall, so it's hard to fit in a short cabinet, even if you take it apart.

As always, kitchen aid provides another high quality product that will last in my kitchen for many years!! This product is easy to clean and compact enough for storage but not dwindling on performance. Love it!

Great Chopper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this Chopper. The ability to have 5 cups of something chopped is so nice. I haven't had to use it to that capacity yet but the larger size is good for those bigger menu events. The chopper was very easy to use. I love the handle on this as it helps pouring and scooping out the food. The easy separation of the chopper is also a nice feature to help with the cleanup. I love the fact that it is dishwasher safe. The pour spout on top helped me to add liquid without making a big mess. I love having different speed options on this too. I like some things smoother than others and this allows me an opportunity to have different consistencies for my foods. With this being a smaller appliance you can leave it on the counter if you want quick access.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the chance to use this food processor extensively last thanksgiving preparing food for the whole family and having this in our kitchen alone is a complete game changer, making things a lot easier and faster to make. It is very neat, so easy to use and allows you to have good control of the consistency of the mixes. It has the option of chopping or doing a purée, so that lets us do salad dressings/mixes and dips easily. It’s also very quiet and absolutely love that it is a 5-cup processor because we are able to make things one-time and not have to do batches. We have the 3-cup processor but for a large gathering of 16-20 people, this 5-cup size is just what we needed. I feel like every family should have this gadget in their kitchen because it makes preparing food more pleasant and an enjoyable experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There were no instructions on taking the lid off in the manual. I had to watch a video online to learn how to remove the lid. The lid does not slide easily on/off. The way the top part of the lid connects to the clear plastic part seems like it may separate if pressed too hard. The five cup size is a good size for making small batches of sauces, homemade salsa etc. Drip basin and additional whipping blade are nice addition. Base has a good solid weight to stay in place. Chopper doesn't have a lot of power. Kitchenaid has always provided quality appliances. I was disappointed with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I make a lot of homemade dressings and sauces and spreads and have been using this to blend them up and it works like a dream! Blends chopped onions, garlic, fresh herbs, and any thicker ingredients really smoothly, and is a really nice size for this. Easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn't take up too much space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my new KitchenAid Food Chopper 5 cups Matte Black few weeks ago and I could not be happier with it. It is multi function product for my kitchen. Totally essential product and I had no idea I needed until I got it. It just makes my life easier and I can make so many things with a single product. I recommend it to everyone and specially people like me that dont like to have too many kitchen appliances. This food chopper I can use to make my morning smoothies and also to make mashed potatoes, mix and cut my veggies....so many things. I even tried to use to make a cake and it worked! The 2 speed and pulse mode makes the job so much easier. Easy to use, easy to clean and has the perfect size. I am getting another one to give to my mother in law for Christmas.

Makes chopping my nuts and veggies a breeze which cuts down my food prep. No longer use knife for food prep. Easy to use, would recommend for beginners and pros. Cleans up very easy and is dishwasher safe.
