[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great chopper. Love the capacity. I can make a quick sauce, hummus, or dip. It’s so easy to use and super easy to clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First use today for Mayonnaise. Work well and met my expectations. Will be using the mayo later today for jumbo lump crab cakes.
Question: Does the top cover that contains the on/off button come apart for cleaning? I appears to be 2 pieces cover but it does not look like it is intended to come apart for cleaning? Yes/No?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The processor works wonderfully. Making pie crust is now so easy, I may have to go on a diet. The only thing a little tricky was figuring out how to get the lid off, but other than that, I love it! It's simple and easy to use and works very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the 5 Cup Food Chopper a handful of times but it has performed well. I have made really smooth hummus and recently some restaurant style salsa with garden veggies. The chopper has plenty of power and the chop and puree settings did the job quickly. The 5 cup size is a nice bonus versus the 3 cup Kitchen Aid processor that we recently retired.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my chopper. It is the perfect size, always consistently chops and grates. And the added whipping attachment is the cherry on top of the whip cream! As a matter of fact, you can quickly make whipped cream in this wonderful little kitchen friend. Delicious.
I tossed mine yesterday. It couldn't blend oats, ground flaxseed, dates (softened in hot water) and chopped carrots, even after I added some liquid. The unit eventually started smoking and that was the last straw for me. It worked well for hummus, pumpkin oatmeal pancakes and other very moist soft recipes. I'll be investing in a much more powerful unit. Should've saved my $70 and bought the real deal.
