Perfect size ... but.....

This would be perfect if only it also had a slicing/shredding blade. I have a 30 year old processor (different brand) that has a 4 qt bowl with a slicing/shredding blade, a chopping blade and a mixing paddle. The lid is cracked but I make do because I cannot find a replacement for it. I do not want, need, nor do I have room for a larger one. I was so hoping this 5 quart would have the slicing/shredding blade because I would have bought it instantly.
Use this daily, but the components are cheaply made and lid broke within 7 months of purchase.

Watched video on YouTube, instructions are in "other languages" than English (should, at least, include "English!)!
Worked once. It complicated, has design flaws,
"I'm taking mine back tomorrow!"
DON'T BUY!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I liked the safety features with this food chopper. It only can be turned on if the container is on the motor unit properly. Then you have to have the top on it correctly and the on off switch is under your thumb. It is safe for new cooks and college students.
The container does not have any cup measurements on the container. I measured how much the container held. It holds 3 cups of water before it starts to leak. The container will not hold 5 cups of liquid. (Why I gave it 4 stars) I will however hold 5 cups is the center is installed and you measure to the top edge of the container. I would not consider this as 5 working or useful cups.
You have to prep and cut food into about 1inch pieces if you are chopping raw food. You also have to do this in small batches. Then it does a good job.
We chopped everything for making omelets. Then used the flat whipping disk to whip the eggs for making omelets for the family. Nice being able to pour the eggs into the pan.
It is easy to clean. You have to be careful cleaning the chopping blades that are sharp. You can store the entire food processor and attachments as one unit.
Plastic bowl and shaft is flimsy, pieces broke off the first time I used it. I had it replaced and the same thing happened again. Scary, esp since I used it to make baby food.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this chopper as a gift, and love it! I enjoy making homemade chimichurri sauce with it. It is easy to clean. Really like that the cord wraps perfectly around the base - such a nice feature for storing the chopper in my cupboard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food chopper never worked right out of the box. Tried calling customer service several times. Wait went on forever or was cut off. Also tried online chat. Never got through. Probably will throw this in the trash or take to ewaste.
