[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been experimenting with this food processor for a few weeks now. Its the first one I've ever owned and I'm really enjoying it. We've been growing veggies all summer so we had plenty on hand to make some salsa (chips and salsa is one of my favorite snacks). I was able to find a recipe on the kitchenaid website and it turned out so good, reminded me of restaurant salsa. I've been using Pinterest for ideas for things to make and have been making tons of stuff using this machine. Its come in handy for other things too like shredding cheese and chopping meat. I had no idea you could do so much with a food processor! This one is so easy to use and cleaning is simple! Kitchenaide is a great brand that i can always count on for quality products. Really happy I found this machine, gonna buy the exact one for my friend and her soon to be hubby. I know it will make a nice wedding gift.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for processor to replace an older one I've had for a number of years. I love this kitchen aid one for it's compact storage of parts. It is much lighter than my old one which was so heavy for me to get out to use. This one is more manageable and seems quieter. The kitchen aid doesn't have as many gadgets which is ok as I don't cook like I used to. It is easy to take apart and put back together.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so disappointed to open this. It smells very powerfully like chemicals and still does even after a month and it comes with a tag that has a Prop 65 warning about cancer and reproductive harm. I am currently pregnant and don’t want to risk anything by using this and have something leech into the food. I would expect a safer and higher quality product from KitchenAid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super fast assembly! Takes only one-click to attach the bowl and lid. Takes one snap to lock the lid in place. The blades store easily inside and the cord fits underneath. Takes very little counter space. Compared to my old processor, this is very quiet. Easy to move, lightweight but durable. The blade breezed right through my frozen bananas. Took little to no time to cut up my onions, celery and bell pepper. Not only did it save me time but saved my hands from cramping-up. Super easy to clean, thankful for that. The food pusher blends in so perfectly you might forget it's there. You might put cut-up bananas in it by mistake.Really, really happy with the easy clean!!! Very well-made!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used a food processor before, and the truth is that I loved it, the speed with which the vegetables chop, the super rich Mexican sauce since it has the flavor of fresh vegetables. I wouldn't change it for anything.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this food processor as an upgrade to my existing one. I've always been impressed by KitchenAid and so when I saw a deal for this I had to snag it. So impressed! The hinged lid so you don't have to figure out where to set your lid awkwardly while stirring or adding ingredients is awesome, I love the blade that separates from the trundle for easier cleaning and it will move up and down a little so you don't get that dead zone of unchopped ingredients. I made some Hatch tomatillo salsa in this the other night and it was so consistent and turned out great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first food processor and I found this very user friendly. I was able to quickly put this to use in my kitchen and have successfully and more conveniently put together some wonderful recipes for my family of six. I have also cut some costs on my grocery spending by not having to spend extra on pre-sliced and grated cheeses. I am making greater use out of the vegetables in my garden. My only complaint is that I would like for the shoot on the top to be a little wider, but I can work around this by cutting things smaller so they'll fit. This food processor comes with everything you need for slicing, grating, shredding, and chopping. It's easy to alternate between the chopping blade and the grater/slicer plate. The three settings help control the speeds and gives you a fair amount of control in how much processing the food product requires. This is also easy to clean in the dishwasher, I just rinse off and clear out any remaining debris beforehand. It's also compact and does not take up a lot of shelf space. I enjoy using this food processor by KitchenAid, it's so convenient to have for meal preparation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a versatile appliance in the kitchen. It makes chopping and slicing much quicker. I’ve been loving it for homemade salsa, or to quickly chop veggies for a salad. It also comes in handy for baking, from crushing cookies to grinding ingredients or turning nuts into butter. I will note it’s not the most consistent with the thickness of the cuts when slicing or chopping, so something to note if you need that, for the tasks I use it for I find it’s not that big a deal.
The 7 cup machine is on the larger side and has a heavy base. Easy to clean and well made, I’m pleased!
