Design Flaw

I’ve used this small food processor for a few months over one year, about once per week. Yesterday, the metal clasp that secures the lid to the bowl broke. The hard plastic that holds the clasp broke off the lid, rendering it unusable. My last food processor lasted for over 25 years. I expect better from Kitchen Aid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste your money.

Was given this as a gift a couple of Christmases ago and have only used it 5 or 6 times. Worked great when used but like other reviews have stated, when using recently it just stopped. Seems to be a serious problem with this model from KitchenAid. Contacted customer service before writing this review and all they were able to do was tell me that this unit has only a 30 day warranty. Really ....only 30 days! Thought KitchenAid was a top supplier of kitchen appliances but my expectations of them has now changed greatly.

I bought it for my wife works great powerful motor
their is one small issue the locking tab design is not the best and tends to break when opening we have had 3 that all broke in the same spot would be much stronger if the mount was solid and not 2 ears with holes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful product

It can’t purée. It just pushes stuff to the sides. Whether you add a small amount or large, it’s the same.

Perfect Size!

Broken after moderate use

Used processor about 5 times before motor completely quit working. I loved it when it worked but the value is very very poor. There doesnt appear to be a warranty so I feel cheated.

Doesn’t do a good job!

We have used it for both shredding and slicing. Neither was consistent with large pieces and very fine pieces. Also, a lot of whatever is being shredded or sliced doesn’t goes through and gets stuck on the domed lid. Pulsing doesn’t help. It just doesn’t work for our needs.
