[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 stars because I have only used it a few times. The design is good for cleaning but the lid is a bit awkward as it can come off unexpectedly when you swing it all the way open. The size is good for small family. I like it's simplicity of operation and it is reasonably easy to store
Awful product. Pesto, hummus, baba ganouj - it all comes out lumpy and not creamy at all. High power is more like low power on any other machine. I tried to shred cabbage, and feeding it through the top feeder was impossible. The feeder plunger is shaped so that it only goes in one way. The food has to be cut so small to put through the feeder that I might as well chop the vegetables myself. Large chunks of food remain on top of the shredding/slicing disc. I thought I could trust the Kitchen Aid brand to deliver a quality product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does everything I need it to do without superfluous bells & whistles. Powerful, Compact, well designed and easy storage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was making pasta carbonara and needed 2 cups of grated cheese. This food processor made easy work of it. Looking forward to all the other things I will use it for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I wanted to love this sooo much. I'm not very impressed. I may be doing something wrong I'm not sure, but it doesn't shred all my cabbage for slaw like I thought it would and I am constantly have to take the lid off during processing and remove the whole pieces. Again, I may be doing something wrong. I am waiting until I make slaw again to make my fine decision as to my opinion but right now I wouldn't recommend. I love KitchenAid though and will remain a loyal fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The process of replacing my food processor, which was still under warranty, was very easy. It arrived in a couple of business days. I didn't realize how often I used it until it was gone. So happy to have it back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's done great in the first tasks given to it. The lid that tips back is a novel concept, and I like it. The real test is long-term durability, which felled an older (different brand) in 4 short years.
did a poor job of simple tasks such as pesto. Died a year out of warranty. Would not recommend. Bad quality for what is expected with the kitchenaid name.
