I purchased this thinking the extra money I spent for it mean it was better….NOT! I broke after 5 uses and I tossed it. Such a disappointment.
I bought a less expensive brand and it has worked beautifully for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I wanted to love this sooo much. I'm not very impressed. I may be doing something wrong I'm not sure, but it doesn't shred all my cabbage for slaw like I thought it would and I am constantly have to take the lid off during processing and remove the whole pieces. Again, I may be doing something wrong. I am waiting until I make slaw again to make my fine decision as to my opinion but right now I wouldn't recommend. I love KitchenAid though and will remain a loyal fan.

Easy to put together and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snap-on jar and hinge lid is awesome. I always fumbled with lining up and twisting my mom’s food processor. It’s so easy to get the lid on and off of this one to stir and scoop things. I keep in on the counter to chop onions and garlic and shred carrots. I don’t mind using it to prep small items because it’s so easy to clean.

It’s great for shredding Parmesan cheese! I bought new processor cook books & am excited to try new recipes. I chose Kitchenaid because I heard it’s easy to assemble, take apart & clean. This is all true. I love my new Kitchenaid food processor!!
