[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my food processor about 3 weeks and I'm still learning about its capabilities. I bake a lot & without a stand-up mixer, this food processor has been a lifesaver! Next purchase, a KitchenAid mixer :)

Stops working

We are on our 2nd one! The first one stopped mid use. The second one worked great the first time we used it, went to use it again and it won’t turn on at all. Everything attached properly so there should be no reason for it to not turn on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dependable Power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased this I thought it would be average. Value priced I was truly surprised that it performed extremely better than I expected. This is by far my favorite kitchen appliance purchase of the decade. I really enjoy the fact that it can grate ann8 oz block of cheese so quickly and without motor strain like my old GE. Thank you KitchenAid for keeping quality above quantity. I’ll be back for more kitchen appliances.

Faulty

Right out of the box, the machine would only function on low. The "High" and "Off/Pulse" buttons are unresponsive. We have to unplug to stop the motor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a gigantic KitchenAid food processor that is too much trouble to unpack and use for small jobs. This is the perfect size on my counter and gets used all the time. Sometimes simple IS better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a much larger food processor so the size of the kitchen aid is perfect for leaving the machine on the counter for smaller jobs. While it does a great job chopping and grating, the way the lid is attached makes the insert fall out every time it is opened. And the 2 peice chopping blade (which does not lock into place) means you have to rememeber to remove the blade before dumping out the contents pf the bowl or risk losing a finger. I would recommend the processor but I think the top and blade design needs some tweaking
