[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a free trial. I had such high hopes for this product, since the brand has a great reputation. I followed the directions very carefully, and tried to shred some potatoes for homemade hash browns. At first, it was shredding well. Then it just turned them into a ball, that had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I tried it again, attempting to knead some dough for cinnamon rolls. Another disaster. I will keep trying though, just in case it's user error. I can say it sure looks sleek, and boy, is it quiet when it runs!

Stopped working after two uses

Unfortunately, as other reviews have suggested, this product is very short lived. After only two uses, my kitchen aid 7 cup food processor stopped working. The motor will not cut on and none of the buttons will light up anymore. Very disappointing product; I expected better quality from a company like KitchenAide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome food processor. I am a fan of Kitchen Aid products to begin with...mixer, chopper, and now a food processor! While all of the products work amazingly the food processor was the final additional to my kitchen. It slices really well, and processes any other food items that I have had to over the last month or so. I would totally recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that the size of the bowl is big enough to hold a good amount of food, and the food processor fits pretty well on the kitchen counter: however, some of the slices of cucumber did not get shredded, also, the blade did not seem as sharp as the one that came with my old mini processor that I had( adapted from the blender). In addition, there are only two setting basically: high and low, with ice crush and pulse. Overall, it was a good purchase.

First of all I'm impressed with how fast I received this product. That being said, I thought I loved my previous processor (another brand) but this is hands down better. Love that it has just enough weight that it doesn't need suction cup feet but not too heavy. I have used this to slice and shred and absolutely love the job it does. Totally awesome and will definitely recommend this to my family and friends. It is also very easy to clean after use. If you are debating buying this - choose yes - I did and am very happy I did!

Clean up was the best thing about it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older Cuisinart food processor that I gave to my daughter when I bought this, I felt this was a good pick after reading all the reviews. I hated it! I tried to shred cheese, attempted to shred zucchini, both were bad. There is such a huge gap between the top of the disc and the lid that large chunks just spin and spin, and never get completed. The best thing about it was the ease of clean up. I returned it and ended up buying a new Cuisinart, I didn’t want to disappoint my daughter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Feed tube Design Flaw

I wish I would have purchased another brand or different model. The feed tube jas two inserts that fall out every time you open the lid. Very annoying. If I’m using the feed tube I put tape over it so it doesn’t fall out each time I open the lid. This was a poor design.
