Handle on the bowl broke after barely a year

I bought this just before Christmas a year ago to help out with the big meal. It has worked great. Until last week when the handle broke off the bowl. It doesn't work without it. Two tiny little screws in some thin plastic have completely disabled the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
