Good processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace my 30 year old food processor. Have used Kitchen Aide products in the past. Takes time to adapt to a new appliance after THREE decades! Reason for 4/5 stars is two fold:1. Safety latch is VERY difficult to actually latch, and 2. If the latch unbuckles, the blades still spin. HUGE safety issue.

Loved till it broke

Design Flaw

I’ve used this small food processor for a few months over one year, about once per week. Yesterday, the metal clasp that secures the lid to the bowl broke. The hard plastic that holds the clasp broke off the lid, rendering it unusable. My last food processor lasted for over 25 years. I expect better from Kitchen Aid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Short lifespan

I was gifted this food processor 2 years ago by my partner and used it often for veggies, sauces, dough, etc. I loved it until it burned out on me this week. This brand is known for being the best and these products are supposed to be well-made and durable enough to last at least 5 years (especially considering the price!) I am disappointed that a product from this company only have a 2 year lifespan. I would love to recommend the product to my followers for its performance, but cannot in good conscience due to its lifespan. I will have to look elsewhere for more durability, but am very sad to leave this product behind!
