Terrible machine

Awful product. Pesto, hummus, baba ganouj - it all comes out lumpy and not creamy at all. High power is more like low power on any other machine. I tried to shred cabbage, and feeding it through the top feeder was impossible. The feeder plunger is shaped so that it only goes in one way. The food has to be cut so small to put through the feeder that I might as well chop the vegetables myself. Large chunks of food remain on top of the shredding/slicing disc. I thought I could trust the Kitchen Aid brand to deliver a quality product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this model KFP0719 as a Christmas present December 2018. Used it after I got it home. Loved it! Used it this morning, it stopped, I scraped bowl, restarted, and it stopped never to restart. I read the manual I let it sit for close to an hour still would not work. Very disappointed as I can’t return it to QVC as it was a gift.

Hadn't expected it to be a disposable

This food processor quit working after less than a year.
It also did a poor job of pureeing. And was very, very loud
Absolutely not worth the money. Not worth any money.

Devastated

Completely devastated. This was my must have registry gift and it stopped working 10 months into occasional use. Thought there something wrong with my outlets, tried multiple times, checked all parts were in place. So, so disappointed after only a handful of uses. Unacceptable.

Great size, but...

I purchased this processor this past summer. I've used it only a few times, mostly for purees and pie crusts. While I was preparing Christmas eve dinner, I attempted to dice some room temp Parmesan cheese. It was only 3 ozs. and cut into small cubes. After pulsing twice, the processor stopped. I should have read some of these reviews before purchasing. Very disappointed. It should have been able to handle it.

So easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded to this food processor from a much smaller type and I wonder why it took me so long to make this decision. The product itself is simple with 3 buttons but it's the design that makes it stand out. Solid build quality. The plastic container feels study and is crystal clear. The blade also feels very robust and is easy to clean. Storage is great as the slicing blade has a separate position for storage so everything is self contained. The lid comes off very easily for clearing and once again design shines as the hinge is not a pressure snap on & off (which would have worried me as it would have put stress on the plastic) but instead a very nice system that unlocks with no friction whatsoever while also ensuring a tight & secure fit while in use. Great product.

Bought this to help with preparing Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, it began smoking and stopped operating entirely. Would not restart, and I have been unable to get in touch with anyone at the toll-free number.
