Time saver!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a chinois for applesauce. A friend suggested using processor. To my delight it worked like a charm and so much quicker and easier. I also used it to make my pie dough with coconut oil, butter, four, water, and vodka……..awesome!

Good size but broke on 2nd use

We enjoyed this food processor the first time we used it. It was sturdy and worth the price. However, after the second use, the lid fell from the counter and broke. It is completely unusable now. I was surprised the lid was so fragile, but would be happy to replace it, as we were enjoying the product. Unfortunately, no replacement exists. After scouring the internet (including kitchenaid's own website and ebay), I tried to call kitchenaid to see if the replacement exists. I had no luck. I wish I would have done more research before purchasing this product, as it has several reviews of the handle/motor/lid breaking very early. Overall, I would not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exactly what I needed

I purchased this processor for my garage kitchen/smokehouse, and it’s everything I was looking for. Making sauces and marinades has never been simpler, and being able to efficiently shred fresh cheeses and vegetables without having to go back into my apartment has improved my workflow drastically.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have never owned a KitchenAid product, I am sold now. We have a large garden, and just did our sweet pumpkins into bread and pies, yum. Had been grinding peppers the old way and now its a pleasure to process them, the time that it saves. I make my own chili powder and the food processor is awesome, I now question myself why did I wait this long. After purchasing this unit we bought a blender with several attachments.... thank you KitchenAid,, your products are awesome
