Goodbye chopping onions!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this to review by Tryit Sampling. What I received was a KitchenAid 7 cup food processor with two blades, one Multipurpose S-blade for chopping and blending and another reversible blade for slicing and shredding.
I have never owned a food processor before so was excited to get this. This has a 7 cup work bowl with a cover that attaches to the bowl by a hinge. It has three settings: low, high, off/Pulse. It has a short cord. That’s the only drawback. You have to place it close to a power source. But that’s a good thing because there’s no danger of anybody walking by too close and knocking it off the counter. This also has a feed tube that has a removable two piece food pusher. This was handy because I sliced up some cucumbers and a couple were too big and so could remove the Food pushers and drop them in to be sliced with ease. The cucumber sliced up perfectly. Each piece was the exact same width as the others. This will make slicing potatoes for potato gratin much easier as the sizes will all be uniform in size.
I then grated up some cheese. All I had to do was flip over the cutting blade from slicer to shredder. I did have a little bit more trouble with the cheese but I chalk that up to being a food processor novice. It did grate up the cheese wonderfully. I make my own homemade mac & cheese and so I grate all my cheese for that fresh and this is going to be such a time saver.
I then threw in some cherry tomatoes to start a salsa. The tomatoes are varied in color. At first I dropped the tomatoes in through the feed tube but then realized what I wanted to do was place all of the tomatoes in the bottom of the work bowl, put on the lid and chop them up using the S blade. That made the consistency much more to what I was looking for. And they all chopped up perfectly.
I can see a lot of uses for this food processor. In the past when I have run out of breadcrumbs I have used croutons that I ground up in a blender. But that always seemed to take longer and they never really were crushed to my liking. This food processor is going to make that so much faster and easier. I also plan on making homemade mayonnaise. I am very excited to try that. I am very excited to try a lot of different things with this food processor.
KitchenAid is one of the best brand names I feel you can buy. I have had different KitchenAid products over the years and so I am glad to add this food processor to my collection.
I also want to mention cleanup and how Incredibly easy this cleaned up. Like a dream. For me I dislike spending time scrubbing away at something that should be simple to clean. I washed this in hot soapy water and had no issues at all. And the size is a great size it’s going to fit on my counter perfectly. it’s not big and bulky at all. I look forward to trying other KitchenAid products in the future.

Also very durable, and can be used for so many different things, from pureeing, to chopping, to slicing. It is also very easy to clean, and very quiet when operating. I love it and highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a premium accessory to add to your kitchen collection. This will be a great addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my wife really enjoy the kitchen aide 7 cup food processor. Great size for everything we need to do in the kitchen. There is 3 modes, low, high, and pulse. All super easy to use and Easy to set up. Blades are very sharp, trust me I learned the hard way lol!!! I definitely recommend the kitchen aide food processor. Great addition to my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Observations right out of the box – Love the matte finish! Less fingerprints show and it’s easy to clean! My favorite feature is the twist-free bowl! When you are in your groove in the kitchen the last thing you need is to have to stop what you are doing to play the wiggle, jiggle, and twist game with your food processor! The lid being latched will save you time as well! Latch on, latch off! Everything goes right into the dishwasher! Having the ability to store your slicing/shredding disc right inside is great! The entire appliance itself is the perfect size to have out on the counter or to put away. It’s light and easy to handle. We’re in the season of pesto now; I cannot wait to be in the season of pie dough! This 7 Cup Food Processor is a workhorse and I am here for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yet to be let down by a KitchenAid appliance, and this is no exception. This processor is sturdy yet lightweight, easy to clean, easy to use, and looks great in my kitchen.
It has pretty much everything you need in a food processor…multiple speeds, plenty of attachments, nice sturdy base, and clean up is easy. I think 7 quarts is the perfect size for most applications. So far, I have used it for some delicious hummus and pesto. Highly recommended!I

This thing is a quality kitchen tool. The blades are super sharp. The blades can be stored in the container. I would recommend this. It is a bit loud but I’m not sure that’s avoidable with a food processor.

Decent food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely not an eye sore on the countertop, KitchenAid throws another good looking appliance into the fray. As far as a food processor goes- it's not amazing, but it certainly gets the job done. Making some simple salsa and chopping up the tomatoes and onions you will get some inconsistent larger pieces. It isn't a deal breaker - but the consistency isn't exactly there. For harder things like croutons or nuts: all of the pieces are either super fine or large chunks that didn't get hit by the blade. For me, though, it's always been hard to dial in to the perfect consistency for food processors. The included slice/shred disk is neat but comes with a lot to clean up for a simple slice/shred - a simple grater or mandoline will do the job with less to clean. Even with my complains, it doesn't matter the task - this thing will get it done.
