Compact, easy to use and clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The food processor is compact and therefore takes up less shelf space. The chopper worked well but the feeder is directional (with no warning or arrows) and got stuck. We can no longer use it for slicing or shredding after one use. The older model was bi-directional. Do not recommend purchase unless they fix that feature or at least place an obvious warning somewhere. Machine only lasted one use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice food processor!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little food processor. It’s not the biggest, so you won’t be doing any industrial-scale food prep, but it has plenty of power for normal home use. The lid with the hinge and latch is much easier to use than a lid that has to be twisted into place, and it’s convenient to lift it instead of taking it all the way off every time you have to scrape down the sides. There’s a little bit of a gap when using the shredder, so soft cheese gets pulled under the lid and doesn’t shred as nicely, but it works well overall and is very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Food Processor has been a game changer in my kitchen. I can make salsas in no time and also quickly shred a block of cheese. The size of the product is bigger than I imagined. It was a good replacement for my old blender. I have a baby on the way and I can't wait to use it to create pureés.

Perfect size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was anxious to get this and try it. We cook a lot and have a smaller food processor that worked but we would have to keep emptying it because it wasn't big enough to hold everything. This is the perfect size. We do a lot of sauces, marinaded, soups, etc and feel this will be sufficient for our needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew I wanted the best food processor to handle big jobs so I had no question in my mind about what brand I wanted to purchase. Once I saw all of the features on the KitchenAid - 7 Cup Food Processor I knew it was the one I had to have. The 7-cup capacity is a perfect size and fits perfectly in my dishwasher. Chops, purees, shreds, and slices with the press of a button. and with 3 different speeds, it works amazingly well. I love that the reversible medium slicing/shredding disc and multi-purpose blades handle all different types of foods, from cheeses to tomatoes. It covers every possible need that I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid food processor works so great. Three speeds is perfect for making everything...super easy to keep clean. The easiest way to make my salsa that I have ever made. It turns out so good and so very fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I want in a food processor. It is a good brand and very powerful. It is also a good size for using as well as does not take up much space if left out on the counter for convenience. This is important to me as I have limited counter space but tend to use appliances more when they are conveniently located. The ease of use will inspire me to be more creative in my kitchen.

Capable and solid performer for the essentials
on August 14, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid 7 cup food processor is a capable and solid performer for taking care of the essentials.
The unit is well designed. Having used blenders and food processors for some time now, one automatically tends to twist and turn the bowl to lock it into place. This unit does not need any twisting or turning.....need to get out of my old habit. All components such as the blade, the shredding disc, etc. are designed to slide into the bowl for storage making the unit quite compact and convenient to store. The design also lends to easier cleaning...both by hand or in the dishwasher. After using it, we just put some water in the used bowl and run a short cycle on medium speed to get most of the stuff out. Then a quick rinse and hand wash in the sink gets it clean.
As for usage, it covers the essentials - chop, puree, shred and slice. These functions are a breeze for the 250W motor although based on past experience with similar processors, grinders and blenders, I am not sure if the motor would be able to handle heavy loads. I do not intend to try it and risk destroying it but it has been my experience that more wattage is needed for heavier loads.
A few niggles - I wish there was a dough blade included. For small families, this addition would make this a more complete package. I am not sure if the dough blade included in the other Kitchen food processors will work with this unit. Will have to check this out. Also, the power cord could have been a bit longer. The shorter cord forces usage to areas close to power outlets.
Overall, a solid combination of the essentials in a well designed product that is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store.
