Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The processor has three settings low, high, off/Pulse. It comes with a 2 piece food pusher, 7 cup work bowl, drive adapter, work bowl cover with 2 in 1 feed tube, a reversible slicing/shredding disc and a multipurpose stainless steel blade. It has a short power cord so it has to be set pretty close to the wall. like that It slices up my vegetables evenly. This food processor does great at everything from from chopping to shredding, slicing and pureeing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Its easy to use, clean, and store. There not much else to say really. The blades are sharp and cut everything I've thrown at it so far, and comes apart easily to clean. Its pretty simple, even our kids can help out with using it.

KitchenAid 7 Cup Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who owns many KitchenAid appliances, I really wanted to love this KitchenAid 7 Cup Food Processor. It was easy to assemble, and I like that everything is dishwasher safe on the top rack, aside from the base. The unit is well made, and comes with three speed options for low, high, or off/pulse; a medium reversible disc to shred and slice with, and a multi-purpose blade. When you are done using it, you can store everything together in the bowl. While the disc worked well, I did not have as much luck with the pulse feature for the items I was chopping. I am not sure if it was user error, but I was trying to chop some items to make chili, using the multi-purpose blade and the pulse feature, as I just wanted my peppers and onions to be in chunks. It didn’t seem to chop through the items well, unless I held the pulse button down for a bit, but then it would almost shred the items to mush, and I ended up with a lot of liquid in the bottom of the bowl. It did do a great job on my garlic though. I definitely will continue to use the food processor when prepping other items, as it has great power to it. Would love to see a dice option for this food processor.

Quiet Efficient Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this KitchenAid 7 cup food processory to make coleslaw. I put the cabbage into the container in small chunks. I ran it on low for about 1-2 minutes and it very quickly whirred up the slaw into just the right size pieces. I found the motor sound to be very soft and it did not sound like it was straining at all to do the work. I like the large size container which is more than enough for whatever I would need. I did note that all the pieces come apart separately, such as the stem in the middle comes apart from the bottom blade part. You do need to remove the blade assembly before pouring out the contents or the blade will fall out, so be careful with that. You need to line up the lid part exactly right as you put it on the top, as it is a thin vertical piece of plastic that has to align with the slot it goes into on the handle. This may be different from the top on some other food processors. Overall, this is a great machine. You do need to have enough storage space in a lower cabinet since I found it has kind of a large footprint, especially the base.

Great size food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KItchAid makes a superior stand mixer, but seemed to have missed the mark on this processor. It is visually nicely designed and the size is great for our 2 person house-hold, and the snap close lid is a great feature. However, the performance was lacking when I tried to shred cheese. There were not enough grater holes in the disc and it sat too low on the axle. The result was a few shreds of cheese and then a large ball that rolled around and didn't shred at all. The chopper blade was much more effective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good food processor. I needed a bigger one to blend cake mixes. This worked ok for the most part. I still had to stop every so often to scrape the dry mix off the sides of the bowl as the motor doesn’t seem strong enough to pull all the mix in. Aside from that, everything is great! I was able dice onions and bell peppers for meal prep. Cant wait to try shredding chicken for my chicken salad!

KitchenAid is definitely the best brand for small kitchen appliances, I now own several different ones and I am looking forward to completing my collection soon.
