Fantastic food processor!

Right out of the box you can tell this is a high quality, well built food processor. I love the that the lid easily attaches/detaches from the handle and an easy to use latch to lock it in place. The cup is very easy to mount and its large 7 cup capacity is plenty big enough to hold all that I run through it. The large buttons make it easy to operate also! This does have a powerful motor that was able to very easily handle shredding and slicing cheese & vegetibles. The design makes clean up very easy! I would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad I got the 7 cup kitchenaid food processor. It's been the best thing to use my kitchen for so many of my dinners! With the 7 cup bowl I'm able to make numerous foods for my big family that are included in my recipes. It's super easy to clean, slice and dice. It does it all! I'm highly impressed by the quality as well as the function. I would highly suggest anyone looking for a food processor to get this exact one!

Not my favorite food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a second food processor for smaller jobs. I already had a larger one I didn't want to get out for a quick batch of hummous so this compact size unit seemed perfect. Unfortunately the performance was not what I had expected from a machine with the KitchenAid name on it. I did start out trying to make a small batch of almond butter. It finally got the job done, but it took a very long time and the unit kept shutting off. I am assuming there is a thermal shut down that was triggered because the food processor could not handle the job. I thought the almonds may have been too hard so the second thing I tried was a batch of hummous. This came out okay but had to run a long time to get to the smooth consistency using canned garbanzo beans. I have decided it is better to take the time to get the big one out and clean it up rather than struggle with the smaller one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make home made salsa every year from the goodies I grow in my garden. I had a 4 cup food processor and did not realize what a difference a 7 cup would make. It breezed through the tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos with ease. The clean up was so easy and simple. It is a small size so takes up very little space. I love this little machine and will be using it frequently.

I already have the mixer and now i’ve added the food processor to my family. The food processor has very sharp blades. I’ve made sauces in it. I’ve pulverized nuts in it. It does everything i ask of it and more. Very quiet machine and easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how versatile this KitchenAid - 7 Cup Food Processor is. It can shred, chop, slice and puree. It was super easy to put together and the blade is also very is to change out if you need to switch from one function to the next. I also need to point out how quiet it is. My sleeping baby didn't even flinch when I turned it on during his nap. So far, I've made salsa with it, which came out perfect. I also tried slicing veggies. Harder veggies like carrots came out great. I tried slicing a cucumber, but it just tore the cucumber into pieces instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing not to love about this KitchenAid 7 cup food processor. I wanted one to save money by shredding our own food at home. It's done that and so much more. This is so easy to use, clean, and store. In spite of its compact size, it's the perfect size for every day tasks and prep for larger meals too. I really like that everything stores right inside. I didn't need to read a book to understand how to use it. All it takes is a click and you're good to go! It's simple yet effective and gets the job done quickly. My 11-year old daughter loves helping in the kitchen and she's really enjoying it too.
