(why me) am I the only one out there who cut both index fingers trying to put the slicer blade on. there should be a caution or warning sticker on that blade. I have always bought kitchenaid everything most of my life because it's always been a reliable brand but this machine is so much lighter weight then my old one and it's very hard to clamp shut. just seems like it's made cheaper. ive only had it a few weeks so we'll have to wait and see how it holds up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can always rely on my Kitchenaid

The performance and quality of the old confirmed my choice of staying with the product I could rely on. Never a problem with maintenance, always a satisfactory result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new size. I’ve had a Kitchen Aid 3 cup chopper for 20 years and love it. Great to see the new 5 cup. It is probably the most used appliance I have. Glad to see KA went back to having a handle. Have a second 3 cup with the no handle design, and I only keep it for back up. Everyone should have one of these in their Kitchen. I love KA, have their choppers, 3,5 and 11 cup. Also KA dishwasher (amazing how quiet), blender and coffee pot. Love them all.
