Love this Food Chopper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second kitchen aid food chopper. The last one we had was a 3 cup. Used it all of the time. Needed one with more room so yes we purchased the same model just with a 5 cup chopper. You will love this!! Easy to use and you can make lots of things from scratch.

In the middle of the small one and large processor

I also own a miniature one which is only good for herbs and onions or garlic. The large one is great but I think I will be using this one more. 5 stars.

Wish there were more accessories

I like the 5 cup because all the other ones and or too big and I wish it had an a cheese shredder but the shoots hope they come with an accessory for that because my kids only have so much counterspace and space and the larger for processes are too big for only two people in my household hope they put it in the count and accessories for it for shutting etc. not that would be great I’ve seen on other brands but I like how the KitchenAid looks and I wish I had more colors as well and a 5 cup

Great tool, poor quality

We purchased this model January 2019. We were so excited about the smaller size and got rid of our older food processor that we had for over 16 years. We only used this one about once every two weeks. But last time we used it, the push button on the handles did not work. A connection is lost somewhere, but it is not obvious to us where. After only 1 year and 4 months, it doesn't work.
Now we wish we still had to old one, which was a very good quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple; Yet Effective

Poorly Designed

I was really excited to have found this food processor, but have been disappointed with it. I used the whisking disk to mix some instant pudding and the pudding went below this disk, filled up the inside of the black cylinder that holds the disk, then went down the hollow center piece of the bowl and collected around the center shaft on the motor itself. It was a MESS! And so incredibly difficult to clean up into the black cylinder, inside the hollow center piece, etc. And there was only about 1 1/2 cups of pudding in the container, so it is not like it should have been overflowing. It was very disappointing since I had such high hopes for this processor. Also, if for any reason, you take the container off (with the blade/whisk attachment still in place) and then decide you want to attach it back to the motor to mix again, it is virtually impossible to line it up again so you can get it back on the base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to Use and Love the Capacity

Then I saw the Kitchen Aid and have used it so much already. The capacity is great, it does more than the little chopper I had and I love the drizzle hole! So pleased with it.
