Wow, it works great.

I was a little worried about buying this blender. I've bought a battery powered blender before but a different brand and it couldn't get it's way out of a wet paper bag. And after about 3 uses it was dead. (and the dead 1 cost more too) So see why I was worried? Took a chance; I can't believe the power the Kitchen Aid has. I love the Kitchen Aid brand blender. So glad I bought this one. I made protein shake with, pineapple, powder protein, ice, milk. It was quicker then my big blender. I plan on taking this blender camping with me and use in my home too of course. It has power! Love it. I see many uses for this blender. Update! I've had this a few weeks now; and I can tell you I just love it. Can't believe how long the battery lasts. I can't believe, how fast it chops up the ice, it's done in no time. Wow my big "different brand" blender doesn't chop up the ice that fast. And when the other costly blender dies, I'm getting a big Kitchen Aid Blender too.

Don’t waste your time!

Don’t waste your money. The battery has to charge separately - so there’s no way to use this plugged in. But, fine, it is a battery blender. Unfortunately it can’t blend much. We bought this for our protein shakes and it can’t handle a few pieces of ice. I just left it practically smoking on our counter after it tried its hardest - and now my kitchen smells like burnt plastic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DIt didn't make it a year and the motor locked up without warning. I liked the product up until that point.

Sadly the cup deformed in the dishwasher and there is no option to buy a replacement cup.
This is super disappointing. The blender is not cheap and if you want to use it every day there should be an option to purchase more cups. I guess if the cup is broken you can throw the blender away?!
