A very thin film-like layer

The feel and texture of the strap itself are truly wonderful. I really like it and use it all the time. There is one thing that bothers me, though. A very thin film-like layer is peeling off the coating on the strap’s edge. This bothers me.

After I acquired my first Form - Leather strap I knew I would have to have more. They are simply the best, most comfortable and utilitarian camera straps available anywhere and at any price. I am a commercial and event photographer and have a strong preference for non-adjustable, slim, leather straps: less bulk, no buckles or other stuff on the strap to impede immediate use. I have at least six of these straps in different sizes. Peak Design: you outdid yourself with the Form - Leather strap.

Best sleek leather strap on the market

First Peak Design product as I was specifically looking for a sleek leather strap and they didn't make one until now. Best decision I could have made - Have been using it for nearly a year now in and the product is very durable and strong. The leather is very good quality and blends in nicely with with less casual clothing on a daily basis. I have been using it nearly every day and the wear is minimal yet with a nice patina to it and considering the heat I have exposed it to there is no discoloration or transfer onto white clothing whatsoever like I have experienced with other brands. I get asked about the strap a lot and I couldn't recommend it enough.
I have seen the PD anchors before but these have been redesigned to be slicker and less visible - I have been reassured they can sustain some crazy forces and after such a long use I have to say they are faultless and you can really put some massive weight on them without any issues.
I have the tan color in size "Standard" which is perfect for someone like myself (I am 189cm or 6'2") to wear it cross body or just hanging down the neck. There is also an extra anchor on the side of the strap so you can do like a sling back for easy reach.

Great modern-vintage strap

Very high quality product, nice vintage design; compatibilty with modern connectors makes it easy to swap straps and gives confidence that your camera won’t fall on the pavement. Recommended without reserve.
