Great accessory, but gets hot!

I was really jazzed to get this charger, I recently purchased a Spigen case ,for my Z Fold 7, that comes with MagSafe like traits. My spouses phone has a case with an after market MagSafe ring accessory attached to it. His phone was overheating when using the wireless charger - and charging wasnt working properly - the phone was charging, but losing battery life throughout the night. It works much better on my phone, but the chargers charging piece does get really hot. Not sure if this is intended or a defect in ours.
To round things up. On one phone it was overheating a lot and not actually charging the phone.
With my phone, it works as intended - but the charging piece does get pretty warm. Not sure if I'll keep using it, as I fear the heat its putting off could damage my phone and its battery.

Big let down

I was excited when I saw that Samsung was making their own magnetic wireless charger . I ordered one and I can't get it to charge over 10 watts. I have a I have a spigen charging stand that will charge my phone at the full 15 watts. The difference between 10 watts and 15 watts is a full hour of charging time when the phone is at 20%. This magnetic puck is supposedly designed for Samsung but doesn't work properly and it also gets quite warm almost hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This charger is trash. It only worked for a few days and was still slow to charge. I have everything Samsung, entire kitchen, laundry, tablet, phone and TV and I cant believe they made such a poor product. Do no buy! Believe the reviews. I didn't believe because there were only a few but the low rating is accurate. I have a no name wireless charger that has worked for years. You also don't want the hassle if you need a refund or replacement. It takes so long that it is less stressful to throw it in the trash and settle with the fact that it was money wasted.
