My daughter loves that she has a head band and they can match! Shes a movie star!! She also looks like she’s ready for a good shopping spree and my daughter plays with her in dollhouse shopping at different stores. She also says she’s ready for a night out on the town with her friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute and so close to the movie! Her hair braid was so pretty and the clothes were perfect. She looked exactly like she did in the movie. As soon as my daughter saw it she knew just who is was. The only negative is the shoes were so flimsy that the heels were bent when we took her out.

A Lovely Collectible for Barbie Lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really beautiful collectible, especially for fans of Barbie and Barbie The Movie. One of the biggest highlights is the quality of the construction. The doll feels well-made, sturdy, and carefully put together, which makes it feel like a true collectible rather than just a regular toy.
The outfit is very accurate to the movie. The pink blouse and skirt set closely match what the character wears on screen, and the accessories and hairstyle are done nicely. The hair, outfit, and overall styling clearly aim to resemble the movie version of Barbie, and they do a great job capturing that look. The included display platform is another great touch—it makes it easy to showcase the doll as part of a collection. I also really liked that it comes with a certificate of authenticity, which adds a premium, collectible feel.
There are just a couple of things I wish were better. The face doesn’t look as close to Margot Robbie, who plays Barbie, as I was hoping. It still looks good, but the resemblance could be stronger. I also wish it came in a more display-friendly box, similar to Funko comic cover boxes, so it could be shown off without removing it from the packaging.
Overall, this is a really nice collectible if you’re into Barbie dolls or movie-themed collectibles. Despite a few small drawbacks, it’s well-designed, nicely detailed, and definitely worth adding to a Barbie or movie memorabilia collection.

Beautiful Doll with Its Own Charm

Cute jointed doll, but not top quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie doll is adequately jointed with many points of articulation, making her fun to play with and display because she can be positioned in a relatively large range of positions. Her joints are not too loose so she can hold a pose pretty well, but she cannot stand unassisted. She has a pretty face, pierced ears, and comes dressed in a decent quality outfit. Her earrings are cute, but I wish they were higher quality. They look like cheap plastic. I also wish her face looked more detailed and like the Barbie actress, Margot Robbie.

Barbie as Margot Robbie, from Barbie: The Movie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters were very pleased with this new Barbie, from Barbie: The Movie. She is supposed to be Margot Robbie, the actress who played Barbie. This Barbie features a beautiful pink outfit inspired by the film: a glittery pink buttoned jacket, a glistening pink skirt that has great shape to it, a pink beret hat, and nice touches of jewelry (chunky pearl bracelet and chunky pearl drop earrings. Barbie’s hair is in an off-center part, worn to the side in a beautiful chunky braid, adorned with a lovely light pink bow at the end. The box she comes in is especially beautiful looking. The simplicity of the bold design stands out very nicely and looks iconic. My daughters loved the film and so they really enjoyed posing Barbie in different situations and making up Barbieland adventures for her because - of course - it’s Barbie! This is what she was made for! My only complaint is this (and I just can’t help but say it): I have stared at this doll’s face plenty, and to me it simply does not resemble Margot Robbie. The doll is beautiful, but to me it doesn’t look like her face, and sadly I would never look at this doll and recognize it *as* Margot Robbie. I have seen pictures of the Barbie movie Ken doll (Ken as Ryan Gosling, the actor who played Ken), and there is an excellent resemblance to Mr. Gosling. I also think an opportunity was missed to have this Barbie smiling broadly, rather than holding this more plain expression. Overall, as Barbie dolls go, it’s a very nice doll.
