Attractive Kettle!

I love the aesthetic of this kettle! It looks really good on my desk. As far as heating water, it does the job very well, it boils water efficiently. The spout has a filter that seems to help make a more gentle pour, which is appreciated. The start button transitions smoothly and has a mellow light indicator that the kettle is heating. I do like this kettle, but there are two things that take points from a 5-star review. One is the handle; while it makes for a nice feel and lever while pouring, it presents challenges when filling. If for any reason, this kettle isn't filled at a kitchen sink, the angling required to get it filled well can make a mess. My only other criticism is the noise. This is the loudest kettle I've had. I purchased this for the office, so I was hoping for the "standard" level of noise.

Love this kettle. Heats quick, is beautiful.
Not so great? Trying to figure out how to start and auto stop etc. it wasn’t laid out great in the directions how it will shutoff after heating. Also, having a hold switch would be nice instead of having to go into the menu.

I ordered the Clyde Electric Kettle in Matte Black on a Monday and received it on Wednesday of the same week. It arrived quickly and was packed extremely well. The lid is very easy to remove and fits snugly on the kettle. The handle is comfortable to use because of the angle and the material it is made of. When the water is being heated it is much quieter than our previous kettle. It’s just what I wanted in a kettle and I’m glad I bought it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
