Balanced well for pour overs. Holds desired temperature within a degree or 2 during the duration of the pour over. After a few placements on the heating element, it is easy to get the hang of where it goes. Great kettle. You want style and perfection in your kitchen get the kettle, grinder and scale to match. And then a great pour over round out your collection next to your vacuum canister of your favorite coffee.

We looked long and hard to find an attractive and high volume kettle that did not have plastic parts in contact with the boiling water and the Clyde fits the bill and then some. It's attractive abs fortunately has no plastic in the water.

Couldn’t be happier! Heats water super fast, excellent capacity, spout doesn’t dribble out water the same way that the Stagg does, and of course it has great aesthetics. I’ve retired our Stagg to storage and keep the Clyde out 24/7 for all of our hot water needs.
