Kettle works fine - seems to be much less capacity allowance than its body. Handle seems to always get in the way of filling from tap or tabletop water filter.

The kettle features a sleek, minimalistic design and is easy to handle. However, there are some imperfections in the inside rim where the welding is visible in a few spots, which detracts from the overall aesthetic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrade from Original Stagg EKG (Very Satisfied)

I had the Stagg EKG, and upgraded to the Stagg EKG Pro Studio because my mom was looking for an electric kettle. It certainly is an upgrade, very nice attention to detail and feels like a more sturdy iteration on the original. I have been using it for a little over a week now and it has been great!
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because, while the guided mode is really nice, I would have liked to see the option to add a custom preset to the list, or a different menu item to have presets to pick from. This is very minor but for the price would be a nice touch! I would be very happy if this was included in a future software update?
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the few "all metal" electric kettles on the market right now which is a selling point. 1.5L, 1500W, no drip spout, grippy handle. That's the good. The main reason for 2 stars, is that it is prone to rust spots at the interior seam (where the bottom meets the side) within a week of use.
I've never had issues with previous water kettles rusting even after years of use.

I like the balance of the unit from different grips on the handle depending on how full the kettle is. The grid outside the spout is not removable and the perforations on the inside make things in the spout difficult to remove or clean. The plastic cover on the top makes the feel cheap. Very quiet when it is cleared of scale. As the scale builds it gets much noisier. Happy there is no chrome plating that so many "stainless steel" kettles have. The price seems very high compared to other designs. Overall we are pleased a month into using it. Hope it lasts as long as our last kettle, retired at 22 years but still working.

We looked long and hard to find an attractive and high volume kettle that did not have plastic parts in contact with the boiling water and the Clyde fits the bill and then some. It's attractive abs fortunately has no plastic in the water.

I’m a month in and struggling that is always seems to leak either at the lid or spout. I googled if this is common and I need to send back and got mixed reviews on what to do. Poor slower so I do that and it still leaks! Help!!

Not your average electric kettle! As an 10 year electric kettle user, when my glass kettle finally broke, I took the plunge for this beauty. Not only does this kettle heat water efficiently, but the nozzle doesn't drip when pouring water, the water lid sits firmly in place preventing water dripage on the outside and to boot, it's gorgeous to look at. The size of the kettle balanced against the handle make this water kettle easy on the wrist and hands of all sizes. Best purchase ever and really speaks to the buy better buy less philosophy.
