I can’t believe it got better!!

I had gotten the model before this one and to be honest I thought it was the best “phone grip” device ever created!! I love the multiple ways to hold and I didn’t even know how to stand it up!! This new one.. OMG!! I love it!!! The holder is magnetic to case so it goes right back into position when not in use.... I love that!!! I love to hold it with the finger through the holder.. it is so secure and I am the type that has fallen asleep and the phone has hit me in the face.... Does not feel good!! But not with this!! It stays on my hand and believe me I have tried countless grips!! It is definitely more than I would typically pay, but it’s worth every penny and they have great deals frequently!! not as strong as previous version

I am copying another review - because I agree 100%. The most frustrating place it no longer holds is on the car mount that ohsnap! sells. Won't hold strong enough if the car hits a bump. I think Oh Snap makes a fantastic product. I switched to the 5 as soon as the color I wanted was available, but it was not as good as the 4. My main problem? The magnetism wasn’t strong. Surfaces my phone used to firmly stick to with the 4, it was sliding down slowly with the 5. I don’t think it’s the adhesives that make the difference (I really do prefer that the 5 has no adhesives) but after trying the 5 and switching back to my 4 I can confirm the magnets in 4 are stronger and hold much firmer (not just across magnetized metal, but also on my magnet stands/chargers)

Best Snap Grip Yet

I only hopped on the Snap Grip train with the last iteration of their snap grip, but this is a definite improvement. So glad to not have to use the adhesive that came with the last grip. You can also definitely tell that the magnet is stronger, because with the last version of the Snap Grip, whenever I didn't use the adhesive, it would come off and get stuck to my MagSafe chargers. Really happy with the color and improvements on this one!

Magnets don’t work.

I’ve purchased a snap before and never had a problem. This time it’s different, the magnets aren’t holding well at all and my phone has taken a few falls off of surfaces it used to hold on to. It’s a shame, this was a good product before.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A step back in functionality

I previously used the first generation snap grip. While I did not initially care for the adhesive ring, I realized it may be MagSafe phone mount much more effective. In upgrading to this newer generation and the elimination of the adhesive ring, the magnet is much weaker. I use a Belkin wireless charger on my desk, and I used to be able to just slide the phone onto it and it would snap into place. With the second generation snap grip in place, the adherence is much weaker, and can be knocked off very easily. If I remove the snap grip, the snap case will provide a strong magnetic attraction to the Belkin mount. I have to use two fingers to hold onto the snap grip. It is physically impossible for me to put my finger through the snap grip and use it as a one finger hold. I do have large hands but I did not think this would be the case. Overall, it's not as easy to grab as a PopSocket; with those you can pop it open and slide your fingers under; I cannot snap open the snap grip one-handed

Made grip possible!

I have been wanting a phone grip, but I use a wallet case that already adds thickness to my phone. This grip is perfect because its so thin, and also easy to remove when I use a differnt magnet mount in my car. The rotation makes it comfortable no matter how I use it. And the color matches my case! Very pleased!

Good but not as magnetic

I really enjoy my snap grip. I’ve had every iteration. This current grip has more coating and therefore is not as magnetic. It does adhere to my night charger and car charger although at times it falls off the car charger of if I go over a bump. In addition, it will NOT work with a wireless magnetic charger I own. Disappointed about that.

I love that it’s so flat so when I lay my phone down it still feels & looks so thin, I hate the bulkiness of a regular PS.. & I use it as a fidget, it just pops & snaps.. i’m about to buy more colors 😩
