Favorite grip

I've been a fan ever since the original and the 5 is better than ever. The magnet is strong enough that I don't have to worry about it coming off but I'm still able to remove it if needed. Great gifts.

Not a great experience

After using pop sockets for many years, I found they are still a superior product. It is easy to grab my phone, get my fingers behind the popsocket at any angle 369 degrees. The ohsnap product requires that it is aligned in a specific angle to fork your fingers around a rigid core. In doing so, it flipped and moved too easily making it more difficult to grab it quickly. I’ve returned mine and will stay with pop socket .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In with the old, out with the new!

Yes, I wrote that correctly. I was excited for the "no adhesive" necessary for the new and "improved" Snap grip 5. Too bad the magnetism for the "stick on anything attracted to magnets" side was sacrificed in lieu of allowing the snap grip to seemingly work without the adhesive. It makes sense to make one side MUCH weaker so the other side APPEARS to be stronger. I've had more than a couple of mishaps where this new version FAILED to stay magnetized to my fridge. I've NEVER had to worry with the snap grip 4, let alone watch my phone tumble straight to the floor! After the 3rd time, I made the switch back! Sorry, I guess this just made me see what I truly prioritized and needed. Needless

Somewhat dissapointing

I just upgraded to the snap 5 as my snap 4 was literally falling apart and was excited for the magnetic side to the phone to get away from the adhesives. After getting it that part is great but the magnetic facing out is very lackluster. I have a snap car mount as well as a desk stand and when placed on either of them the smallest bump will make it fall off. Which as you can imagine in the car can be very distracting and disruptive. Even placing it locations that I used my snap 4 on have proven questionable if it will stay on or just slide off, which for what it is, is very disappointing. Besides the magnet issue it is a very nice grip with a very smooth open and close that I have now had for 3 generations of the grip, but as it is I cannot recommend it for use until the magnet issue is fiixed.

It had survived over a year with a few falls and scratches on roads and still performs perfectly. I have the adhesive version and love it since my case isn't magnetic. 10/10

Everything 2.0 was but better!

I have the Snap Grip 2.0 on my last phone. and the little piece of elastic was finally starting to tear after many years of wear and tear. When I traded in my old phone for a new one, I was excited to get to upgrade to the 5.0! I like how there is no adhesive so if I wanted to change cases, I can without hassle. And the pop part is all metal so there is no wear and tear the way the elastic was on the last grip. My only complaint is that the grip sits very high on the back of my phone and I have trouble reaching the keyboard part of the display with my tiny hands. That being said, I know it has to go where it is because of the MagSafe compatibility, so I guess my complaint should be directed more towards apple--haha!

I wish the inner circle and mechanism were also metal, but understand why the mechanism is plastic to fit many finger sizes. Works ok for me as a grip, better as a stand.

I previously had the snap2 and it lasted a while. Just upgraded to the latest and I love it! Feels more secure and sturdier. Uses the magnetic to adhere to phone & close.
