I’ve purchased models 3, 4, and now 5. I recently purchased the grip 5 and MagSafe case kit for my iPhone 17 pro max and I’m honestly a bit disappointed in the decision to remove the adhesive from the grip. I’ve dropped my phone twice due to the magnets not holding onto the case, this never happened with the adhesive. I also feel the magnets aren’t as strong in the new grip. I also own the car mount and never had problems with my phone falling off of it. With this new grip 5 it falls off consistently. The previous version would snap onto the car mount strongly, it would pull my hand into the magnet while attaching. This new version almost fights me to place it on and doesn’t feel secure. I have to mess with it to attach properly. The grips functions are amazing as they always have been but the magnetic strength and ability was a huge step back this time. I didn’t feel like reviewing this because I have lived their products for a while now but this was just not up to the level of excellence their previous products have been.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Plastic deforms. Not worth it.

Thin plastic becomes deformed and won’t lay flat any longer. Not worth it.

Great grip, lasted less than a month

I bought this grip shortly after the holidays and it worked great for the first couple weeks. I did notice that sometimes the grip springs bent the wrong way and I would have to physically push them into the correct position to get it to close. Then recently, it won’t close fully at all. So it is absolutely useless. I would not recommend this grip. I believe it appears to be perfect, slim, exactly what I wanted, but it lasted less than a month.

Do Not waste your money

I ordered two of the grips and one case November 26 and receivedand I received them one month later. one completely fell apart almost instantly, I managed to put it back together used a few days before it started not snapping closed just stands up. You can push it but it doesn’t work. I left a review and was contacted and told they would send me a new one to replace it, well that’s never happened. I’m still waiting for them to make it right. The case is good it’s a bit slippery but feels good in the hand also the matching grip works great. I find the snap as a kickstand is not good, barely stays.

Product was great until I I thought the plastic on the back was a protective cover. I attempted to remove it and now my snap grip is useless.
