I loved this phone grip while it lasted and would have given five stars, unfortunately it has disappeared from my phone with less than one month of use. Too expensive to replace unfortunately.

A week into owning it, the magnets failed and it fell off. Waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2 steps forward, 1 step back?

I originally had the Snap Grip 4 and ordered the Snap Grip 5 because the adhesive on the 4 had become too weak over time. It would often stay attached to my stand or wireless charger instead of my phone. Because of that experience, I had high expectations for the Snap Grip 5.I really like the feel and the color (simple black), but now I’m running into the opposite problem. It adheres to my phone extremely well, but it doesn’t stick securely to surfaces I place it on, causing it to slowly slide off.For example, the other night I placed my phone on my wireless stand before going to sleep. When I woke up, my phone appeared charged, but I realized it had slowly slid just enough overnight to disrupt the connection. The same issue happens with the stand sold by OhSnap! itself.Honestly, that’s my only complaint.

Grip is extremely thin, simple and easy to use the magnets seem to be strong, not as strong as the snap for series, but I believe that’s because it had the adhesive along with the magnets.

Not as good as the 4

My snap 4 broke so I bought a 5. It does stick really well to the phone without adhesive but not so well to other objects. The magnets in the back are so bad it just barely sticks the the Oh Snap car mount I have. It has fallen off several times. My advice would be to skip the 5 all together until they fix this issue. I’ll probably be changing it all out to something that will actually hold my phone in the car.

Not many things these days are very creative and functional but this little device is a mixture of awesomeness. Good job, I look forward to seeing what they come up with next.

Not a good as Snap 4

I have an iPhone 17 Pro and this new Snap 5 will not stay attached to metal surfaces. It will slide down as the magnets are not as strong as Snap 4 which I still have. Also on my MagSafe car mount the slightest pothole or bump and the phone goes flying because of the magnets. The Snap 4 does not do this and is firmly attached to the mount. Also the new soft coating on the ring is very fragile and scrapes off very easily and it isn’t anodized like the Snap 4 was. There needs to be some reengineering of the new Magnet ring and coating to make this product viable. Would suggest to still sell the Snap 4 until this is fixed.
