Amazing upgrade!

I had the Snap 4 previously and it worked great until I changed cases as the adhesive came off. Then one day as I was cleaning my case the grip fell to the floor and it popped out. The grip wouldn’t rotate and it was constantly coming off any magsafe item I used. THIS NEW SNAP GRIP 5 HAS FIXED EVERY ISSUE! The stringer magnets have made it stay attached to the back and it has been so smooth! DEFINITELY WORTH THE UPGRADE!!!

I've literally used the Snap Grip 5 about 3 times because I really didn't like the feel of it on my finger, but I have it another whirl today and now the snap finger thing won't close.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Two steps forward and one step back

No adhesive is actually amazing, my issue now is the snap mount that I have attached to my refrigerator has a terrible connection to the grip and the slightest touch removes it from it. I don’t like that the upgrades made to the grip make older mounting options that I paid for impractical.

Love how slim it is. Magnet is super strong too. It's just too uncomfortable for me to use. I find the plastic digs into my fingers a bit too much. Otherwise, it's very high quality and well constructed.

When I received my new Snap Grip 5 in October I was super excited! I moved away from Oh Snap a few years back because I did not like the adhesive. With the Snap Grip 5 I was able to get back the grip I loved without having to apply the adhesive. That lasted for about a month. The grip works great, HOWEVER it does not collapse flat 97% of the time which is annoying. If this could be fixed this would be the BEST grip on the market.If my grip is considered defective please send me a replacement. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Strong magnet. Feels like it’s a part of my case. Charges perfectly. My MagSafe wallet even attaches on top of it - if you make a MagSafe wallet with find my tech - it would hit my cart so fast

I’ve been a Popsocket user since Magsafe was introduced . I tried the Grip 4 but immediately returned it because of its sticky situation - that pesky adhesive! I can’t use it with any other case without removing the adhesive. It leaves a residue if I have to take it off. Then, enter Grip 5. Oh Snap nailed it this time! In my opinion, this is the pinnacle of their design - strong magnet, ultra thin, versatile kickstand, elegant finish, works with any Magsafe charger like magic without painfully taking it on and off.... and, I almost forgot to mention: NO MORE PESKY ADHESIVE! Great job Oh Snap team. Goodbye Popsocket! There’s a new daddy in town!

I had the Ohsnap 4 luxe and loved it outside of the adhesive. I appreciated the ability to reuse it with some cleaning but was still a pain to remove though I didn't need to do so often. The ohsnap 5 being only magnets is a huge improvement! I have a Pixel 9 Pro XL with a magsafe case from dbrand and the ohsnap 5 sticks to it VERY well. I was worried that without the adhesive it would be susceptible to coming of easily. But I was pleasantly proven wrong. I've been using it for several days now without any issues! And using it to stick my phone to metal surfaces is still just as strong too!The main reason for wanting to able to easily remove the ohsnap was for wireless charging. I noticed with the ohsnap 4, it would get hot and cause the adhesive to soften and was felt when trying to adjust the grip by rotating it. Now I can easily remove it whenever I need to. Excellent improvements team!!
