Weak Magnet

I’ve owned snap grips since the 3rd one. They’ve all been great. This one for some reason seems less. The magnet quality is extremely weak. Every time I stick on my locker, it begins to slide and then fall off. The magnetic grip is much weaker than its predecessors. Hopefully they find a way to rectify this.

Magnets are way too weak on MagSafe mounts

If you use MagSafe car mounts, the OS 5 is way too weak, they made it worse. Just put the OS 4 back for sale, I rather have the adhesive and not have my phone flying off while driving.

Pros: I love its new feature of no adhesive and all magnet! It does NOT come off of my phone unless I force it to. That’s great. And it’s comfortable and feels good too!Cons: My only issue, which is kind of a big one, is that the magnets on the other side are now quite weak. Most of my MagSafe products can hardly hold onto the Snap Grip 5. Like the gen 1 snap charger and most of my Anker MagSafe chargers. I use the snap mount and gen 1 snap charger in my car and a slight touch will send my phone flying off of it.I fully understand that I can just remove the Snap Grip 5 and then use MagSafe products, but it’s a strange trade-off that feels unnecessary when I didn’t need to do that with the Snap Grip 4.

Not worth the wait...

I preordered this product at full price and was supposed to receive it early November according to their website. However, I finally received mine in the middle of the Black Friday sale. Yep. The end of November instead. I would have been happy if the product was as good as it claimed. I liked how thin it is. However, it’s hard to open with one hand and it’s so delicate. On top of that, one finger slot is very small and very tight, and I have to put my finger carefully but my fingers aren’t that fat.... I cannot imagine a men’s fat finger can go through. Anyways, it’s impossible to do any of the suggested things (one finger, two fingers, and kickstand) with one hand. The I have to use my two hands to do anything. I’m giving it a benefit of the doubt, but I’m leaning toward returning it. I really wanted to love Snap Grip 5, but it’s not for me I guess.

Product is good, but magnets dont feel as strong

I love the idea of not having an adhesive, makes things much more convenient. However the 4 used to be able to hold my phone against magnets easy, the snap 5 magnet isnt so strong and makes the phone slide down the wall slowly. this honestly is my inly complaint. I dont use the magnet often, but at times when i do, I have to remember its not as strong to the last ohsnap 4.

I don't really use it for holding my phone, but I do use it as a stand. It works great for holding the phone in landscape mode, but it isn't good for portrait. I find that getting the grip to line up with and stick to the Snap Charge doesn't work very well. I used it for a couple of weeks and still couldn't just reach over and stick it on. My case has Mag Charge and I have no problem getting it lined up right to stick to the charger. It is handy that the grip now sticks with magnets instead of adhesive. It's really easy to take off and put back on. And it sticks really well.

One of my co-workers had one and i was sold instantly. Now my wife is jealous and wants to get rid of her pop socket. You just can't beat how minimal this device is. Would definitely buy again
