Its not nearly as strong magnetizing to metal like the Snap Luxe.

Lives Up to the Hype!

For years I used a heavy ring stand on my large phone and I wanted something that would give me the same support without being so bulky and heavy. I was concerned about older Snap Grip's adhesive since sometimes I change cases or don't use a case at all. But the new MagSafe Snap Grip 5 was worth a try since I was getting a new phone as well. So far I'm really thrilled with it. I'm learning new muscle memory after 4 years of my old ring stand, but so far I love the thinness, the versatility, and the ability to charge through it or attach other accessories.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ya really missed the mark on version 5. Removal of the holder is not convenient at all. It should be a no brainer and not a chore to take and remove every time I want to charge using the mag back. Returned it immediately.

Magnet is not that strong

I don’t know if it’s accidental or not but I got sent the 4 version instead of 5 (I wanted the 4 in the first place anyway since I want the pass-through charging). The magsafe to the phone is totally fine but the magnet that’s used to attach to stuff is pretty weak, couldn’t hold a magsafe portable battery. The grip is great tho. I would trust the one finger grip to not fall on my face when I’m scrolling half asleep. The grip may cause finger pain after using for more than an hour (I have a 16 pro max for reference). Great stuff.

Love the charge through

I love this thing 99.5% Opening it up is a little fiddly and takes some getting used to, but I love the ability to use one finger or two to hold the phone and the charge through capability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the added features that were not part of the pop-socket world - particularly the fact that it is magnetic. I have a Pixel 10, and the SNAP is similar in thickness as the camera on the phone. Great product!

I always thought pop sockets were sort of lame, especially when they stuck out from the phone so far. So I never even thought about getting one until I saw an advertisement for these, saw how low they laid to the phone and thought I’d give it a shot. As soon as I put it on my phone, my daughter and my wife both insistent on having one so now within two weeks, we are the proud owners of three! You guys rock and a makes me feel way more secure about holding my phone than I have ever before.
