It has some shortcomings

Unfortunately this will not work to stand the phone vertically. Next time they should try flattening the edge so it won't fall over. I'm also leary of using it as a finger grip as it seems to be quite delicate.

The grip

The two finger grip area too small, especially the one finger hold. I have small hands. Sometimes upon closing grip it doesn’t close...I have to push one of the pieces in the correct direction . The kickstand doesn’t hold up either. The idea behind this grip is great but not easy to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect!

i’ve had every generation since the original kickstarter. finally it is perfect. i was never a fan of the sticky back. the version 5 holds tight and hasn’t come off my phone since i got it. no problem at all holding on my magsafe desk stand. once again my favorite grip.

I had Snap Grip 3 for a couple years. No problem with charging through it or it coming off. The 5 doesn’t let me charge through it. Plus, it doesn’t seem to hold onto surfaces as well.

Magnet sucks

This is the second one I have gotten, my last one broke after 2 years, which is amazing, but this one is different somehow. I got the car mount with my last one and it worked amazing, this one does not stay on at all. I really don’t want to have to buy a new car mount just because I had to replace the grip, that’s the main reason I stuck with this brand, that and it lasts a lot longer and I love that it doesn’t stick out too far from the phone

Not made for big hands

If you have big hands/thick fingers like me, do not buy this product. It's way too small. You won't be able to get a good grip on it They should make a larger version for bigger people, just like a glove.
