I have never used a pop socket or anything else due to adhesive. I stumbled across the Snap Grip 5 and it’s awesome. I can take it off easily if I need to. It does work with the wireless charger. Functionality of it is great and what I need it for. Definitely recommend. Interested to see how long it holds up but it’s been a great buy for sure. Super pleased.

I miss my Snap4

I do not like the Snap5. There are so many features from the Snap4 that the 5 does not support. I actually missed the adhesive back of the 4. My new one has a hard time staying on my MagSafe case and it is not compatible with all of my MagSafe phone holders. I also need to take it off just to charge my phone on any MagSafe charger. The surfaces I used to hold my phone on magnetically no longer hold with the Snap5. If I could re-order a Snap4, I would.

A Fun Fidget!

This phone grip is exactly what I wanted in nearly every way. The magnet is strong, and it functions great as a kickstand. Both one finger and two finger grips feel natural.I have two complaints, and they may not apply to all users. Using one finger grip pushes the arms out of alignment, so they need to be manually reset before you can snap it shut again. And the current design is too thin for the iPhone 17 - the camera bump is bigger than the grip, so if you want to use it as a magnet to stick your phone to a metal surface, you’ll need to position it in a way that the camera bump rests above or off to the side of whatever you’re sticking it to.But aside from these minor complaints, I love it, and keep it on my phone nearly all the time!

Not bad, but not what I wanted

This is kind of on me for not considering some of these things, but it just wasn't easy or enjoyable to use. The construction is good, and I did love the idea of magnets instead of adhesive. What I didn't think about was that you can't put it any lower on the phone without adhesive, which would defeat the purpose of buying a magnetic grip. This means that I couldn't use the phone one-handed because I couldn't grip lower on the phone. Also, the actual space where your fingers go is kind of narrow. And the way you open the grip, means that you first have to press down to pop the other side up, then grip and rotate the circle so the the space for your fingers is lined up. It's just awkward.

Will work with Peak Designs tabletop mains chargers but will not work with pd car charging and that’s really annoying
