Overpriced and magnets are not a strong as advertised. easily knocked off a magsafe mount.

So this is an update to one I placed earlier in the year. Get this, I had left my phone on top of my car with the ohsnap onthe back. Mind you I drove from one side of town to the other, oblivious to where my phone was because I had it connected through my radio. When I told my buddy to give me a call, I discovered it above the driver side door panel. When I tell you that something had tightened and it wasn't my heart, I was in disbelief. Ohsnap, y'all have a great product. Keep on keeping on the good fight.

On the website it says you need their charger to charge wirelessly but you do not. It works the same as version 4 and charges with all my wireless changing options. It is much better as you don’t have to worry about the stickiness on the ring and it is just as secure. Perfect upgrade if you have version 3 or 4 and great if you’re looking for a grip to help hold your phone.

Won’t charge with thing on as described, I do like its liwborowfije, but it leaves it too small for my hands. I don’t use it anymore, I don’t see the point of it.

Not as magnetic as previous models

I have had two previous models of the phone grip. I love being able to attach my phone to a fridge or car door via the magnetic phone grip. I also have OhSnap’s car mount. However, the new phone grip is about half as magnetic as previous models, so my phone keeps falling off the fridge - forget about the car mount - any small bump on the road causes it to fall off the mount. If you have a previous model, keep it - save your upgrade and hope they fix this issue in the next model.

I have a mag safe case, so I didn't need to use the android adapter on the phone and the grip stays on my case even when I put it on the fridge, but also still moves easily for holding it. Love this grip!

Almost perfect

I’ve been eyeing these grips for a while and finally decided to try when they switched to the magnetic backing. The thinness is perfection, easy to slide in and out of pockets. However the color selection is limited as all the fun colors are sold out/back ordered and it’s not so easy to get the holder out. I wish it was spring loaded for easy one handed access. All of the videos I have seen skips showing how to get it from being flat to opening and holding. I push the circle down and then fumble for a few seconds while struggling to get my fingers in there. While that’s not very long, it can and does, let a photographic moment pass before you’re able to hold the phone safely and take a pic.

Great grip, but weak magnet

love the way the grip looks and how easy it is to to use. But the new magnet does is not strong enough to hold the phone, even on OhSnap stands and chargers I bought.
